Privacy Policy

How we protect your data

Data Collection

We collect the information we need to provide and improve our 180° feedback service. This includes:

  • Basic contact information for survey participants
  • Survey responses and feedback data
  • Usage analytics on our public web pages, only if you accept analytics cookies (see Cookies below)
  • Account information for administrators

Data Protection

Your privacy is our top priority. Our security measures include:

  • Encrypted HTTPS connections for all access to BAT
  • Hosting in the EU, in data centres monitored 24/7 by our hosting provider
  • Automated security audits
  • Processing of personal data under the GDPR

Cookies

When you sign in, we set cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session. BAT cannot work without them, so we do not ask for consent to these.

On our public pages (home, features, how it works, FAQ, about, contact and the legal pages) we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. We only load Google Analytics if you click Accept on the cookie banner. It then sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, and Google, as our processor, receives details such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. We keep this data for 14 months.

We never use Google Analytics on survey, login or dashboard pages, so it never sees your survey answers or your account.

You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. If you reject, we delete the Google Analytics cookies.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request data correction or deletion
  • Export your data
